The eye drops that you take after your surgery may also irritate the surface of your eyes and cause itchiness or give a feeling of tightness around your eyelids. Make sure to tell your eye doctor about your symptoms so he or she can check carefully after the surgery to make sure that your eye is healing according to schedule.
