After Cataract Surgery Should I Still Wear My Old Eyeglass Prescription?

After cataract surgery many patients would like to know if it is still okay to wear their old eyeglasses and if it is safe to wear their old prescription.

First of all, wearing your old glasses after a cataract operation will not do any harm to your eyes. However, your old glasses will probably be too strong or too weak now that you have had your cataracts removed and intraocular lenses implanted.
