Eye Drops Burn After Cataract Surgery
You've just had successful cataract surgery and now it's time to start putting in your eye drops
afterwards in order to help your eyes heal from the surgery. Unfortunately, it feels like some of the
eye drops are burning your eyes after you put the drops in.
Why is this happening? The burning and aching could be a sign of another underlying problem - dry eyes. After
cataract surgery the eyes can be drier than normal, so if you have preexisting dry eye it can be even worse than
before and cause burning.
