If you had a particularly dense cataract and a lot of ultrasound energy was used to remove the cataract, then your cornea may be more swollen than normal and take longer to recover.

If this happens your eye doctor may recommend an eye drop called Muro 128 which will help to remove the swelling from your cornea faster. It is available as an over the counter eye drop and can be used up to four times per day.
